We love supporting the Big Orange, but sometimes it's nice to get off campus! Here's five ways to get around Knoxville without breaking the bank.
Knoxville Area Transit
Travel all of Knoxville on the bus! With over 20 routes and cheap bus fare you can be from the heart of campus to a different part of town in minutes! A one ride pass will cost you $1.50, 1 day is $4 and a 20 ride pass is $25. You can even receive text alerts about your ride!
It’s as easy as 1,2, ride! Use the Pace app to find a bike nearby, tap “hold bike” in the app and your ride will be waiting, and close the built-in-lock to end your ride!
Pay as you go, every 30 minutes on the bike is $1. If you join the monthly plan, you’ll get a 50% student discount.
This bike sharing program is an easy and affordable way to explore our city!
Hop on the Orange Line for a trip around campus and downtown. Trolley rides are always FREE! Grab a ride through The Old City on the Green Line and all the way up to The Civic Coliseum by riding Blue.
