Will It Grill? :: Mac and Cheese

First, who has leftover mac n' cheese? If the answer is YOU, and you have a grill, we'll show you how to jazz it up and grill it out for a decadent and cheesy meal that's as delicious as it is easy!

Grilled Mac n’ Cheese

  • 1 box macaroni and cheese, prepared
  • 2 cups shredder cheddar cheese, divided
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 8 slices French bread
  • 4 tablespoon butter, melted

Preheat grill to medium heat. Oil grates.

Cook macaroni and cheese according to box instructions. Add ½ to 1 cup shredded cheese and mix. Fold in bacon.

Brush one side of bread slice with butter, and place butter-side down on grill. Top with shredded cheese. Close grill lid and cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing cheese to melt. Top half the slices with a scoop of macaroni, then cover with second slice, cheese side down. Press with spatula and grill 1 minute.

Remove from heat and serve.

Pro Tip: Remove the grilled bread from the heat before stacking on the mac! This will keep the bread from burning and ruining your delicious sammich!
