Cookeville, Tennessee is a great place for a weekend getaway! Here are eight spots we recommend checking out on your trip!

The Pink Elephant
Let’s talk about the *pink* elephant in the room! This Cookeville landmark is the #1 Instagram spot in the city! Snap a pick with “Ellie” at 680 S Willow Avenue! Ellie always sports a pair of sunnies, and in the summer sometimes a bathing suit!
Right across the street from Cream City is The Depot Museum! This historic spot was built in 1909 and houses many Tennessee Central Railway artifacts. Step aboard the 1913 Baldwin steam engine, the 1920 classic red caboose and two of the small track cars.
Cookeville has several Instagram worthy murals throughout their downtown area. One of our favorites is the Our Protectors mural created in 2002 after the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. It honors our first responders.
