Give Your Pup the Best with Home-made Dog Food in an Instapot

It's a new year for you AND your four-legged friend! Give them the best they deserve with this easy, healthy, delicious InstaPot recipe from our friend Jasen at Alpha Body Construction!

InstaPot Dog Food

boneless Pork loin (2 lbs oz)
White Rice (4 cups)
Green Peas (1 lb, frozen is fine)
Corn Oil (1/4 cup)
Coconut oil (2 tbl spoons)
Dog food balance (3 tbl Carnivore IT)

Cook the pork in the instant pot with 4 cups of water for 25 minutes. Separate the pork from the broth and set aside. Keep the broth in the instant pot and add your rice. Cook the rice for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, shred the pork while still warm. If you used a pork cut with bone, make sure all bone and bone fragments have been removed.

When the rice is done, combine the rice and the pork in a separate container. Add the Green peas, Corn oil, Coconut oil, and dog food balance with the rice and pork mixture. Stir, wait for it to cool, and serve! Keep in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

Makes 5 daily servings for a 35 lb dog.
