Festival season in Knoxville is in full swing! And here are just a few of the incredible fairs, festivals, and events going on in East Tennessee to help you plan your perfect weekend!

Vestival Festival

It’s about that time of year again for your favorite little festival in the South Knoxville neighborhood of Vestival! The annual event is on the grounds of the historic Candoro Marble Building! Featuring performances, history tours, artists, activities, and much more!

Fido Fest

This festival is all about our furry friends! Bring your pup to The Pinnacle at Turkey Creek for pet caricature paintings, animal-themed face painting, pet photo booth, live entertainment and food trucks! ALL proceeds benefit Young-Williams Animal Shelter! There will also be a chalk art competition this year!

Tennessee Strawberry Festival Parade

Celebrate 72 years of Tennessee Strawberries at the annual fruit festival and parade. Get started with the “Strawberry Chase” 5k and enjoy carnival rides, music and of course STRAWBERRIES!!! The parade starts at 1 p.m. and will go through downtown Dayton.

Rhythm N' Blooms Music Festival

Rhythm N’ Blooms is Knoxville’s largest music festivals and one of our favorites! Find your new favorite band with their weekend lineup of music in the Old City! Dawes, Tyler Childers and The Black Lillies are headlining the event.

Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass Festival

Listen to toe-tapping bluegrass while eating finger-licking barbecue! Jimbo Whaley, this month’s In Tune guest, will be taking the stage Friday night but there are tons of great acts to see during this festival in Sevierville, TN!

Open Streets Knoxville

Open Streets Knoxville brings together community groups and local businesses, giving people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to walk, ride bikes, hula hoop, and much more – all in a setting that is fun and safe! More than a street festival, Open Streets Knoxville gives residents an opportunity to explore their neighborhood and local businesses in a safe, fun, and family-friendly way. It encourages the use of active transportation and healthy living, and has a goal of giving residents an opportunity to rethink our streets as public space.
