5 Places To Eat In Blount County This Weekend

Our stomachs are growlin, our mouths are waterin, and we’re ready for some grub!

Beautiful views aren't the only thing Blount County has to offer. Visit these five dining spots to treat your tummies and taste buds this weekend!

Aroma Cafe

Aroma Café is known around East Tennessee for their stellar Cuban cuisine. The portions here are pretty big, so be sure to come hungry! Their specialty is, naturally, the Cuban sandwich. This bad boy is served hot with pork, ham, cheese, pickles, mustard, and mayonnaise. Pair this with a side of beans and rice, and you’ve got yourself an authentic Cuban experience!

Rocky's Jamaica Sunrise

If you’re truly interested in expanding your island cuisine palette, we recommend making a stop at Rocky’s. This hole-in-the-wall might look a little questionable from the outside, but we promise it’s legit. From the giant Bob Marley greeting you from outside to the jerk chicken they’re cooking inside, this place embodies the chill island lifestyle. Get yourself a generous portion of their jerk chicken, and pair it with a side of the mac ‘n’ cheese!

Subs & Such

Forget about Subway or Quizno’s. The only sandwich place you need in your life is Subs & Such! This Maryville spot is known for their specialty subs, but they also carry build-your-own sammies and a variety of salads! If you go here, we recommend their Ole Smokey sub: layers of turkey, roast beef, and cheddar cheese goodness!

Vienna Coffee House

Not up for a huge meal? Treat yourself to a snack and a drink from Vienna Coffee House! This Maryville gem is known for their caffeinated drinks, but if coffee isn’t your thing, opt for a smoothie! There are a variety of breads, cookies, and other treats to enjoy along with your drink. Be sure to follow their social media – this coffee shop regularly hosts family-friendly events and live music!

Foothills Milling Company

It goes without saying that Foothill Milling is the nicest restaurant in the Blount County area. This five-star restaurant has a winning atmosphere, service, food, and drink. And, yes, while we’re hyping this place up – it deserves a LOT of praise.

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We recommend trying out the fried green tomatoes (this is the South, after all), and be sure to finish your meal with dessert! This is a high-end, try-it-at-least-once restaurant that’s one of our favorites in East Tennessee!
