The 12th annual Snow Day, a CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit presented by Dalen Products, will be hosted at the Mill and Mine at 7 pm on Friday, January 24th, 2020. Snow Day will feature live performances by a diverse group of musicians, a soup contest between some of Knoxville’s finest restaurants, and a silent auction. Local artisans, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate in the large silent auction by donating prizes.
Tickets are $15 (plus fees) if you pre-order online or $20 at the door.
Chocolatefest Knoxville is one of Knoxville’s sweetest events! You can purchase Tasting Tickets for $25 for different tasting times throughout the day as the event runs from 9am – 5pm at the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall.
In addition to the amazing chocolate, there is live music and entertainment all day, shopping vendors, kids activities, cooking demonstrations and a cake, cookie and chocolate design competition! General Admission is $5 and proceeds go toward the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Knoxville.
Covenant Kids Run Kick-Off
The annual Covenant Kids Run Kickoff happens this Saturday at 10am at Zoo Knoxville! Admission to the Zoo on January 25 is free for each child who registers for the fun run and one accompanying guest. Additional guests get half-price admission to the zoo.
Each child receives a log book for those who want to complete a full marathon by running or walking a total of 25 miles between then and the official Covenant Kids Run on March 28th.
Registration for the Covenant Kids One Mile Run at the Zoo is $20 per child and this fee also covers the child’s registration for the official March 28th Covenant Kids Run.
EAST TENNESSEE CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
Celebrate the Chinese New Year at this annual event Sunday from 3:30pm – 5:30pm in the Student Union Auditorium on the UT Campus. Join the celebration of Spring and the start of the Year of the Mouse! Special guest performers will be The Amazing Chinese Acrobats coming all the way from China! You won’t want to miss their dazzling performance!
Ticket prices range from $5 – $8.
